Location. The Alex is located in New York City, N.Y., in east Midtown Manhattan. Park Avenue and the United Nations headquarters building are two blocks from the hotel. Grand Central Station is within four blocks. Times Square and the Broadway Theater District are six blocks away.
Hotel Features. This contemporary hotel's lobby displays orchids and includes a fireplace. The Alex features Riingo restaurant and bar, serving a blend of American and Japanese cuisine for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Riingo offers a private wine room and a sidewalk café. Limousine and Town Car service is available. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the public areas. The on site fitness center features cardiovascular and weight training equipment, balance balls, stretch mats, floor to ceiling mirrors and flat screen televisions.
